Networking Opportunities
The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce holds "Business After Work" events almost every month at member restaurants, hotels and banquet facilities at no charge to our members. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with other business people. In addition, the Chamber holds numerous Annual Events including the Business Expo, Golf Tournament, Annual Awards Dinner and the "Taste of Middletown" Business After Work Auction. Remember to bring your business cards!
Monthly Member Breakfast Meetings
Member Breakfast Meeting Page Be a part of the largest monthly breakfast forum in the state! Each month, the Chamber attracts some of the most recognized business, political and sports figures nationwide. Meetings are held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Hartford-Cromwell and includes a full buffet breakfast. There is no assigned seating so you can network with new people every month! A New Member Table is provided for our first-time breakfast goers! In an effort to keep our breakfasts affordable, the chamber also offers Breakfast Sponsorship packages. Publicity
The Chamber will work with you to get your Business's name out. Our Membership Directory can be found on our web site and is updated periodically and provides an internet link to your web site. It lists businesses by alphabetical order, classification and town.
Grand openings for our new members are coordinated through the Chamber office. A Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Grand Opening banner ($150 value) is available for a two-week time period. We will coordinate the event for you and contact news media and local and Chamber officials. Contact Cathy Duncan at the Chamber to arrange your Grand Opening!
Chamber membership brings a note of credibility and distinction to a business. Calls to the Chamber for business information are referred to our members.

Seminars
Monthly Small Business Seminars are held in the Chamber Conference Room. Recent topics include sales techniques, employment issues, sexual harassment prevention training and marketing for the millennial generation. Half and whole day Special Interest Seminars are held at various times during the year. Contact the Chamber if you are interested presenting.

The Chamber has a number of special programs including: the Business Education Partnership Program; the Middletown Mentor Program; Workforce Development Programs; the Business Resource Center; the Middlesex County Substance Abuse Action Council (MCSAAC), and the Side Street to Main Street Business and Leadership Development Program.
Employee Assistance Program Consortium (EAP)
The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Employee Assistance Program is designed exclusively for Chamber members and especially for smaller employers. The program is provided by Middlesex Hospital and Solutions EAP, a program of Behavioral Health Connecticut, LLC. Now employers of all sizes can benefit from EAP services at affordable prices.
Preferred Prices
Chamber members receive preferred rates on all Chamber programs and activities, as well as discounts on the use of Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce mailing lists. Members may request a complete mailing list of all Chamber members or may choose to target areas by zip code.
Monthly Calendar
In order to keep in touch with what's going on, the Chamber publishes all upcoming activities in our Monthly Calendar of Events. Each month, members receive a packet containing a new calendar along with other flyers and registration forms with information on future events.
