The Manufacturers' Council meeting will be held on Tuesday March 11, 2008 at Pegasus Manufacturing Inc. in Middletown. We will be joined by representatives from the Connecticut State Technical High School System and the topic will be incumbent worker training. The Council will also explore how the state’s technical high schools can better connect to Connecticut’s manufacturers through training programs, apprenticeships and direct hires.
This is a very important topic for the future and will be very informative for not only manufacturing representatives but for human resource representatives as well.
The meeting will begin at 8:00 A.M. and will be followed by a tour of the Pegasus Manufacturing facility.
