The Chamber held three very successful legislative events in the early part of 2012.  Our Special Legislative Meeting featuring Senate President Pro Tem Donald Williams was held on Thursday February 16, 2012 at the Courtyard by Marriott Cromwell.  This event was sponsored by Connecticut Light and Power and was a great success.  The Annual Legislative Breakfast, featuring the Middlesex County legislative delegation was held on Friday February 24, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell.  This event was sponsored by Comcast,  featured six state legislators and over 100 attendees from the Middlesex business community.  Connecticut Business Day 2012 was held at the Legislative Office Building on Wednesday February 29th from 7:30 AM until 11:30 AM.  A DATTCO Bus brought over 30 Chamber members to the event.  Finally, our Special Legislative Meeting with Speaker of the House Chris Donovan was held on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at the Inn at Middletown.  This event was sponsored by Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. and was another great success.
