Marketing Guidelines & Logo Usage

As a valued member of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, you are permitted to display the Chamber’s official logo to highlight your membership. To protect the integrity of our brand and ensure consistent representation, please follow these guidelines:

Authorized Use

  • Proud Member Display: Current Chamber members are welcome to use the official Chamber logo on their company website, email signature, or printed materials specifically to indicate they are a “Proud Member of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce.”
  • Website Placement: The logo may appear on your homepage, “About Us,” or affiliation-related pages to symbolize your membership with the Chamber.
  • Accuracy: When using the logo, it must always be displayed in its entirety and unaltered (colors, proportions, and design elements must remain unchanged).

How to Gain Visibility

While the Chamber cannot share individual member events on its social media platforms, there are many opportunities to highlight your business:

Prohibited Use

  • Event Promotion: The logo or Middlesex Chamber name may not be used to suggest that the Chamber is hosting, sponsoring, endorsing, or presenting your company’s event or activity.
  • Marketing or Advertising: The logo may not be used in any advertising, promotional material, or social media posts that implies the Chamber is promoting your business, products, or services.
  • Social Media Posts: Due to the size of our membership and the volume of activities across our region, the Chamber is unable to post, share or collaborate with individual member events or promotions on its social media channels.
  • Misrepresentation: Members may not use the logo in a way that suggests the Chamber has organized or endorsed an event. (e.g., “This event is brought to you by the Chamber” would not be permitted).
  • Modifications: The logo may not be altered, stretched, skewed, recolored, or combined with other elements in a way that changes its appearance.

Co-Branding

  • Partner Logos: When using the Chamber logo alongside other logos, ensure the Chamber logo is of equal size and prominence.

Best Practices

  • Always pair the logo with a clear reference to your membership status (e.g., “Proud Member of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce”).
  • When in doubt about how the logo may be used, please contact the Marketing Director at the Chamber office for clarification prior to publishing.

Enforcement

The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce requires prior approval of any and all material containing the Chamber logo. The chamber reserves the right to request changes, rewording, or removal of our logo. Members using the logo incorrectly or with an outdated version will be notified and required to correct it. Refusal to correct such deficiencies may result in revocation of the right to use the logo. Continued incorrect usage may result in termination of membership without refund.
