Middletown Small Business & Minority Business Center

The Middletown Small Business & Minority Business Center (MSBMBC) is a partnership between the City of Middletown and the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce.

MSBMBC is designed to increase business opportunities for Middletown residents and businesses. The center provides one-on-one business counseling and entrepreneurial educational opportunities to prospective business owners, and conducts regular site visits to existing Middletown businesses.

MSBMBC has assisted a number of firms with financing, either from their own bank or non-bank lenders, with guidance throughout the application process.

Even if you are not a Middletown resident or planning on opening a business in Middletown, please check out the links below.  Most of these resources are universal and will help any potential entrepreneur evaluate their business idea and get started.  The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce offers a special thank you to the Middletown Small Business & Minority Business Center’s first business counselor, the late Paul M. Hughes, who developed these documents and assisted countless business owners during his career.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact the Chamber 860.347.6924 or email
