
The Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament is the premier amateur golf event in the region, and it continues to grow in size and impact each year. Proceeds from this signature event support the Chamber’s Youth Programs and the Lorraine C. McHugh Scholarship Fund, awarded annually to a graduating senior attending one of Connecticut’s State University System Schools.
Building on last year’s momentum, we’re thrilled to announce the 43rd Annual Tournament, presented by Liberty Bank is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Lyman Orchards Golf Club. This highly anticipated event will once again include:

Golf Clinic & 9-Hole Tournament at the Apple Nine Course — perfect for new or casual players
The return of the Golf Cannon, always a crowd favorite!
Presentation of the Robert Briggs Award, honoring outstanding community service

9-Hole Tournament: For those who feel they would like to participate in this great event but couldn’t break away from the office for the whole day, or feel somewhat intimidated by Championship golf, the Chamber is also hosting Lyman’s Apple nine course which will include a clinic with Lyman's PGA and LPGA Instructors, 9 holes of golf with cart, lunch, cocktail hour and dinner!

Our Apple Nine experience is designed with you in mind.
This is not your typical tournament—it’s a welcoming, low-pressure environment where beginners and casual players can feel comfortable, learn something new, and enjoy the day.

A 1-hour golf clinic with Lyman Orchards’ PGA & LPGA instructors
9 holes of relaxed play on the Apple Nine course (no pressure, just fun!)
The opportunity to join all 18-hole players afterward for cocktail hour, networking, raffles, dinner, and awards
Whether you’ve never played before, play occasionally, or just don’t want the intensity of a full tournament—this is a great way to get out on the course and be part of the Chamber’s biggest event of the year.
