Central Regional Tourism District

The Central Regional Tourism District stretches from the Massachusetts border to Hartford, along the CT River to New Haven and its neighboring shoreline towns.

The Central Regional Tourism District works with the Connecticut Office of Tourism and Department of Economic and Community Development to attract visitors to the 65 cities and towns within the district.

This region stretches from the Massachusetts border down the center of the state through Hartford, which is rich in history and culture. From Hartford, the region stretches along the Connecticut River and through quiet towns dotted with vineyards, farms, shops, historic inns and B&Bs, New England countryside and unexpected treasures. In New Haven, nightlife, fine dining, art and theater abound, while the neighboring scenic shoreline towns offer both recreation and rest and relaxation.

Come see for yourself why this region is the perfect destination for your next vacation, getaway or long weekend.
